Mothers’ Home, located in Darby, PA and in its 27th year, is a residential shelter for homeless pregnant women and their newborns. On average, 20 women reside at Mothers’ Home throughout the year. During their stay, residents are educated in a variety of mandatory life skills classes, including, pre and post-natal care, nutrition, job search, resume writing, financial independence, and self-care. Mothers’ Home offers professional and compassionate care to residents, while educating them in order to provide them with the resources they need to thrive as members of their community.
